In Friday's non-league game, the Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS) football team got by the host Middleton Tigers (Middleton, TN), by a score of 14-12.
The Hawks (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Potts Camp (Potts Camp, MS). The Cardinals come into the 2A Region 1 game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Potts Camp was tipped by Eupora (Eupora, MS), 44-13, in a non-league game.
