The Montezuma Braves football team (Montezuma, IA), was ripped 52-20 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Southeast Warren Warhawks (Liberty Center, IA)
The Warhawks (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Moravia (Moravia, IA). The Mohawks come into the 8-Man District 8 (8 Man) challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Moravia trounced Seymour (Seymour, IA), 84-6, in a league challenge.
The Braves now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Twin Cedars for a 8-Man District 7 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 30. Montezuma will meet a Sabers team coming off a 44-6 league loss to Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA). The Sabers record now stands at 0-5.
