The Peachtree Academy Panthers football team (Covington, GA), was beaten 42-30 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles (Albany, GA)

The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Young Americans Christian (Conyers, GA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Young Americans Christian was beaten by Westminster Schools of Augusta (Augusta, GA), 64-58, in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Peoples Baptist Academy for a GAPPS A Region 2 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 30. Peachtree Academy will meet a Knights team coming off a 28-0 non-league loss to New Creation Christian Academy (McDonough, GA). The Knights record now stands at 2-3.
