The Yelm Tornados (Yelm, WA) football routed the host River Ridge Hawks (Lacey, WA), 65-7 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Tornados face the North Thurston Rams (Lacey, WA) in a 3A South Sound bout, on Friday, September 30. Yelm will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their 48-12 league loss to Peninsula (Gig Harbor, WA).
