In Friday's non-league match, the visiting St. Ignatius Wildcats football squad scored a close 21-14 victory over the River Rouge Panthers.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the St. Edward Eagles (Lakewood, OH) in a Freelance match, on Saturday, October 1. St. Ignatius will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 5-1 record after their 37-6 non-league win over Rock Creek Christian Academy (Upper Marlboro, MD).
