The Rondout Valley Ganders football squad scored 28 points and restricted the visiting Saugerties Sawyers to 7 in the Ganders league victory on Friday.
The Ganders now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Paltz for a Section 9 B battle on Friday, September 30. Rondout Valley will play a Huguenots squad coming off a 24-0 league win over Liberty (Liberty, NY). The Huguenots record now stands at 2-2.
Coming up next, the Sawyers play the Marlboro Central Dukes (Marlboro, NY) in a Section 9 B battle, on Friday, September 30. Saugerties will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Dukes enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 21-0 league loss to Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY).
