The Sioux Center Warriors football team (Sioux Center, IA), was knocked off 28-6 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors (Sergeant Bluff, IA)
The Warriors (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Sioux City East (Sioux City, IA). The Black Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Sioux City East was knocked off by Ankeny Centennial (Ankeny, IA), 31-28, in a league challenge.
The Warriors now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley for a 3A District 1 challenge on Friday, September 30. Sioux Center will meet a NIGHTHAWKS team coming off a 35-0 league loss to Carroll (Carroll, IA). The NIGHTHAWKS record now stands at 2-3.
