Alabama High School Football - Southern Christian felled by Springwood

September 23, 2022: Lanett, AL 36863

In Friday's non-league game, the Springwood Wildcats (Lanett, AL) football team were victorious over the visiting Southern Christian Patriots (Opelika, AL), by a score of 40-31.

The Wildcats (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Lighthouse HomeSchool (Oneonta, AL). The Warriors come into the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Lighthouse HomeSchool was knocked off by Evangel Christian (Alabaster, AL), 63-28, in a league game.

The Patriots now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Central HomeSchool for a Alabama Christian (8 Man) game on Friday, September 30. Southern Christian will battle a Patriots team coming off a 53-42 non-league loss to Jacksonville Christian Academy (Jacksonville, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 2-3.
