Tennessee High School Football - Watertown crushed by Upperman

September 23, 2022: Watertown, TN 37184

In Friday's non-league game, the Upperman Bees (Baxter, TN) football team smashed the host Watertown Purple Tigers (Watertown, TN), by a final score of 48-7.

The Bees (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Macon County (Lafayette, TN). The Tigers come into the 4A Region 4 game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, Macon County overwhelmed Portland (Portland, TN), 42-15, in a non-league game.

The Purple Tigers now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Robertson for a 2A Region 4 game on Friday, September 30. Watertown will battle a Indians team coming off a 41-0 non-league win over Jo Byrns (Cedar Hill, TN). The Indians record now stands at 5-1.
