The Eastern Mennonite Flames volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Mt. Carmel Christian Academy Warriors to 0 in the Flames non-league victory on Friday.

The Flames now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grace Christian for a non-league game on Thursday, September 29. Eastern Mennonite will meet a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Blue Ridge Christian (Bridgewater, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-6.

The Warriors (3-8) will now prepare for their game against Regents (Charlottesville, VA). The Lions enter the game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Regents defeated Grace Christian (Staunton, VA), 2-0, in a league game.
