Newark Reds (Newark, NY) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Red Jacket Indians (Shortsville, NY), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Reds confront the North Rose-Wolcott Cougars (Wolcott, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 24. Newark will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 4-1 league loss to Williamson (Williamson, NY).

The Indians now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Bloomfield for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 27.
