The Arvada West Wildcats softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Mountain Vista Golden Eagles to 0 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Arvada West improves its record to 13-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Mead (Longmont, CO) to clash with the Mavericks in a non-league game on Saturday, September 24. The Mavericks come into the game with a record of 0-1.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles clash with the Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO) in a game, on Friday, September 23. Mountain Vista will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Huskies come into the game with a 7-1 record after their 15-0 league win over Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO).
