Colorado High School Softball - Mountain Vista gets by Douglas County

September 23, 2022: Highlands Ranch, CO 80126

Spectators at Friday's league match between the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) and the visiting Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO), witnessed Mountain Vista's softball squad tip Douglas County by a count of 7-6.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 8-0 record. They play next when they host Chaparral for a non-league match on Monday, September 26. Mountain Vista will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Rock Canyon (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Douglas County moves to 7-2 on the season. The Huskies travel to Castle View (Castle Rock, CO) to face the Sabercats in a non-league match on Monday, September 26. The Sabercats go into the match with a record of 7-5. Castle View won 6-2 in their recent non-league match against Ponderosa (Parker, CO)
