In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Watseka Warriors soccer squad scored a close 8-1 triumph over the Blue Ridge/DeLand-Weldon .

The Warriors (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Fisher/Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (Fisher, IL). The Bunnies come into the non-league battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Fisher/Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley was overwhelmed by Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
