The Morgan County Bulldogs softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Pike County Pirates to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Morgan County moves its record to 16-5 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league game on Saturday, September 24. The Chargers come into the game with a record of 12-4. Eagle's Landing Christian Academy won 17-0 in their recent league game against Columbia (Decatur, GA)

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 23. Pike County will attempt to move on its 12-11 season record. The Rebels come into the game with a 15-2 record after their 9-0 league win over Lakeside (Evans, GA).
