The St. Michael the Archangel Guardians (Lee's Summit, MO) softball routed the visiting Ruskin Golden Eagles (Kansas City, MO), 11-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Guardians (5-8) will now prepare for their bout against Odessa (Odessa, MO). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 7-4 record. In their last bout, Odessa was routed by Harrisonville (Harrisonville, MO), 11-8, in a league bout.
The Golden Eagles now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Kearney for a non-league bout on Monday, September 26. Ruskin will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Bristow (Bristow, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.
