The University Hawks topped the visiting Bulkeley Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Hawks now have a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Academy of Science and Innovation for a Capital Region test on Wednesday, September 28. University will confront a Ravens team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Capital Prep (Hartford, CT). The Ravens record now stands at 6-1.
The Bulldogs (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Capital Prep (Hartford, CT). The Trailblazers enter the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Capital Prep was knocked off by Academy of Science and Innovation (New Britain, CT), 3-0, in a non-league test.
