California High School Volleyball - Calipatria can't hold off Hoover

In Friday's non-league battle, the host Hoover Cardinals volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Calipatria Hornets.
The Cardinals (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Hilltop (Chula Vista, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league battle with a 5-11 record. In their last battle, Hilltop nudged Kearny (San Diego, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Hornets encounter the Sweetwater Red Devils (National City, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 24. Calipatria will attempt to advance on its 5-10 season record. The Red Devils come into the battle with a 5-17 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to San Diego (San Diego, CA).
