The Dutchtown Griffins volleyball team (Geismar, LA), went down 2-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Newman Greenies (New Orleans, LA)

The Greenies (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ruston (Ruston, LA). The Bearcats come into the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Ruston went down by Sulphur (Sulphur, LA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Griffins encounter the West Monroe Rebels (West Monroe, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 24. Dutchtown will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Live Oak (Watson, LA).
