In Friday's non-league battle, the host South Warren Spartans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Tates Creek Commodores.
The Spartans (15-3) will now prepare for their battle against Cooper (Union, KY). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 13-3 record. In their last battle, Cooper achieved victory over Conner (Hebron, KY), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Commodores clash with the Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 24. Tates Creek will attempt to advance on its 6-14 season record. The Defenders come into the battle with a 8-13 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY).
