Colorado High School Football - Gilpin County tipped by South Park

September 23, 2023: Fairplay, CO 80440

In Saturday's non-league game, the South Park Burros (Fairplay, CO) football team got by the visiting Gilpin County Eagles (Black Hawk, CO), by a score of 26-24.

The Burros (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Elbert (Elbert, CO). The Bulldogs come into the A-8 Black Forest (8 Man) game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Elbert was tipped by Calhan (Calhan, CO), 50-48, in a league game.

The Eagles now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Front Range Christian for a A-8 Central (8 Man) game on Friday, September 29. Gilpin County will meet a Falcons team coming off a 28-24 non-league win over Vail Christian (Edwards, CO). The Falcons record now stands at 3-1.
