Pennsylvania High School Football - Springfield trounces Lower Merion

In Saturday's league match, the visiting Springfield Cougars football squad scored a big 42-0 victory over the Lower Merion Aces.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Penncrest Lions (Media, PA) in a Central match, on Friday, September 29. Springfield will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 34-7 league win over Haverford (Havertown, PA).

The Aces (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Garnet Valley (Glen Mills, PA). The Jaguars go into the Central test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Garnet Valley triumphed over Haverford School (Haverford, PA), 28-23, in a non-league test.
