New York High School Football - Monticello succumbs to Warwick

September 23, 2023: Monticello, NY 12701

The Warwick Wildcats thwarted the host Monticello Panthers football team by a count of 27-14 in Saturday's league outing.

With the win, Warwick upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY) to encounter the Warriors in a Section 9 A-1 outing on Friday, September 29. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 2-1. Minisink Valley won 40-0 in their recent non-league outing against Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY)

With the loss, Monticello moves to 1-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Roosevelt (Hyde Park, NY) to encounter the Presidents in a non-league outing on Friday, September 29. The Presidents go into the outing with a record of 2-1. Roosevelt won 28-0 in their recent non-league outing against Highland (Highland, NY)
