Illinois High School Football - St. Thomas More routs Schlarman

The St. Thomas More Sabers football squad scored 40 points and restricted the visiting Schlarman Hilltoppers to 0 in the Sabers league victory on Saturday.

The Sabers now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Beloit for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 30. St. Thomas More will face a Sobos squad coming off a 57-20 non-league win over Quest Charter Academy (Peoria, IL). The Sobos record now stands at 5-0.

Coming up next, the Hilltoppers face the Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL) in a 8-Man South (8 Man) battle, on Friday, September 29. Schlarman will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 1-4 record after their 62-34 league win over Unity Christian/Mt. Pulaski (Decatur, IL).
