The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Gilmour Academy Lancers (Gates Mills, OH) and the visiting Fairview Warriors (Fairview Park, OH), saw Gilmour Academy's soccer squad triumph over Fairview by a count of 7-0.
The Lancers now hold a 7-1 record. They play next when they host West Geauga for a non-league test on Monday, September 25. Gilmour Academy will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Kirtland (Kirtland, OH). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Fairview drops to 1-7 on the season. The Warriors travel to Holy Name (Parma Heights, OH) to meet the Green Wave in a Great Lakes test on Thursday, September 28. The Green Wave come into the test with a record of 5-6. Holy Name lost 5-2 in their recent non-league test against Midview (Grafton, OH)
