In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Mayfield Wildcats soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Twinsburg Tigers.
The Wildcats (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against South (Willoughby, OH). The Rebels go into the Western Reserve battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, South nipped Cuyahoga Falls (Cuyahoga Falls, OH), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
The Tigers (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against North Royalton (North Royalton, OH). The Bears go into the Suburban - National battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, North Royalton was nudged by Highland (Medina, OH), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
