The Mt. Vernon Wildcats soccer team (Mt. Vernon, IN), was nipped 2-1 in Saturday's league outing with the host Washington Hatchets (Washington, IN)

With the win, Washington advances its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Hatchets travel to Evansville Christian (Evansville, IN) to play the Eagles in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 26. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 11-1. Evansville Christian won 4-0 in their recent non-league outing against Northeast Dubois (Dubois, IN)
