The Westfall Mustangs held off the visiting Washington Blue Lions soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league match.
The Mustangs now sport a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Piketon for a Scioto Valley match on Monday, September 25. Westfall will encounter a Redstreaks squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to Unioto (Chillicothe, OH). The Redstreaks record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, Washington drops to 1-12 on the season. The Blue lions travel to Chillicothe (Chillicothe, OH) to encounter the Cavaliers in a Frontier Athletic match on Tuesday, September 26. The Cavaliers come into the match with a record of 5-6. Chillicothe won 4-1 in their recent league match against Miami Trace (Washington Courthouse, OH)
