In Saturday's non-league game, the Ralston Valley Mustangs (Arvada, CO) football team knocked off the host Valor Christian Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO), by a final score of 35-21.
The Mustangs (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Green Mountain (Lakewood, CO). The Rams come into the non-league game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Green Mountain toppled Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO), 33-0, in a non-league game.
The Eagles now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Castle View for a non-league game on Friday, September 29. Valor Christian will battle a Sabercats team coming off a 34-27 non-league loss to Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO). The Sabercats record now stands at 4-2.
