The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) and the host California Academy of Math & Science Rebels (Carson, CA), saw Taft's volleyball squad beat California Academy of Math & Science by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Taft upgrades its record to 9-7 on the year. The Toreadors travel to La Serna (Whittier, CA) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 3-2.

The Rebels now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host New Roads for a bout on Wednesday, September 27. California Academy of Math & Science will play a Jaguars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Wildwood (Los Angeles, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-2.
