The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Glendale Nitros (Glendale, CA) and the visiting Franklin Panthers (Los Angeles, CA), saw Glendale's volleyball squad beat Franklin by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Glendale upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Nitros travel to Pasadena (Pasadena, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a bout on Wednesday, October 4. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 15-6.

The Panthers now own a 6-14 record. They play next when they travel to Beverly Hills for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. Franklin will play a Normans squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Inglewood (Inglewood, CA). The Normans record now stands at 2-1.
