Wausau East Lumberjacks (Wausau, WI) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Ashwaubenon Jaguars (Green Bay, WI), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lumberjacks face the Wausau West Warriors (Wausau, WI) in a Wisconsin Valley challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Wausau East will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Eau Claire North (Eau Claire, WI).
The Jaguars now have a 0-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clintonville for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 25. Ashwaubenon will face a Truckers team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Shawano Community (Shawano, WI). The Truckers record now stands at 3-6.
