The Brother Rice Crusaders soccer team scored 4 points and limited the visiting Cristo Rey Jesuit Cristeros to 1 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Saturday.
Next, the Crusaders face the Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL) in a Chicago Catholic contest, on Tuesday, September 26. Brother Rice will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Friars enter the contest with a 6-4 record after their 1-0 league loss to Marmion (Aurora, IL).
The Cristeros now have a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Northtown for a Chicago Prep contest on Monday, September 25. Cristo Rey Jesuit will face a Pumas team coming off a 7-2 league win over Rochelle Zell Jewish (Deerfield, IL). The Pumas record now stands at 5-0.
