Central Knights (Providence, RI) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Knights confront the South Kingstown Rebels (Wakefield, RI) in a Division 1 challenge, on Wednesday, September 27. Central will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Rebels enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 3-1 league win over Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI).
The Huskies now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Central Falls for a Division 1 challenge on Wednesday, September 27. Mt. Hope will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-2 league win over Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Warriors record now stands at 2-3.
