In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Chaparral Wolverines soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Monarch Coyotes.
The Wolverines (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO). The Rangers go into the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Lewis-Palmer nipped Coronado (Colorado Springs, CO), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
The Coyotes (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Boulder (Boulder, CO). The Panthers go into the 5A Front Range South battle with a 3-2 record.
