In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting De La Salle Meteors soccer squad scored a close 4-2 triumph over the Notre Dame Bulldogs.
The Meteors (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL). The Knights come into the Chicago Catholic battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, IC Catholic Prep nudged St. Francis de Sales (Chicago, IL), 1-0, in a league battle.
The Bulldogs (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Carbondale (Carbondale, IL). The Terriers come into the non-league battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Carbondale nudged Centralia (Centralia, IL), 5-0, in a league battle.
