Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO), 5-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Golden Eagles confront the Highlands Ranch Falcons (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a 5A/4A Continental challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Mountain Vista will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 1-0 league loss to Heritage (Littleton, CO).
The Huskies now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host ThunderRidge for a 5A/4A Continental challenge on Tuesday, September 26. Douglas County will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Castle View (Castle Rock, CO). The Grizzlies record now stands at 4-4.
