Lutheran South Lancers (St. Louis, MO) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Fredericktown Black Cats (Fredericktown, MO), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lancers confront the DeSoto Dragons (DeSoto, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 28. Lutheran South will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Bayless (St. Louis, MO).

The Black Cats now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Poplar Bluff for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 25. Fredericktown will confront a Mules team coming off a 2-1 league win over Sikeston (Sikeston, MO). The Mules record now stands at 6-2.
