In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Stagg Chargers soccer squad scored a close 3-0 win over the Lincoln-Way East Griffins.
The Chargers (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league bout with a 5-6 record. In their last bout, Sandburg tipped Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Griffins confront the Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, September 26. Lincoln-Way East will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Thunderbolts enter the bout with a 7-3 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL).
