Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Old Forge can't get by West Scranton

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host West Scranton Invaders soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the Old Forge Blue Devils.
The Invaders (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA). The Wildcats go into the Lackawanna - Division II bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, Western Wayne tipped Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA), 6-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Forest City Foresters (Forest City, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, September 25. Old Forge will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Foresters enter the bout with a 4-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Mid Valley (Throop, PA).
