In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Wapakoneta Redskins soccer squad scored a close 6-1 win over the Springfield Wildcats.
The Redskins (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Kenton (Kenton, OH). The Wildcats go into the Western Buckeye battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Kenton nipped Defiance (Defiance, OH), 7-0, in a league battle.
The Wildcats (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Piqua (Piqua, OH). The Indians go into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record.
