Oklahoma High School Softball - Blanchard nudges Elgin

Blanchard Lions (Blanchard, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Elgin Owls (Elgin, OK), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now own a 23-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carl Albert for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 25. Blanchard will battle a Titans squad coming off a 10-3 league win over El Reno (El Reno, OK). The Titans record now stands at 20-7.

With the loss, Elgin falls to 23-12 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Duncan (Duncan, OK) to battle the Demons in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 25. The Demons enter the challenge with a record of 14-14. Duncan lost 8-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Guthrie (Guthrie, OK)
