The South Forsyth War Eagles (Cumming, GA) softball the visiting Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA), 4-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The War Eagles (13-10) will now prepare for their bout against Archer (Lawrenceville, GA). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 8-10 record. In their last bout, Archer held off Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA), 5-1, in a non-league bout.

The Greyhounds now possess a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Dutchtown for a 5A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, September 26. Jones County will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 16-3 non-league loss to Spalding (Griffin, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-10.
