Colorado High School Softball - La Junta bounces Pueblo Central

September 23, 2023: Pueblo, CO 81004

The La Junta Tigers (La Junta, CO) softball routed the host Pueblo Central Wildcats (Pueblo, CO), 13-5 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Tigers (11-9) will now prepare for their bout against Alamosa (Alamosa, CO). The Mean Moose go into the 3A Tri Peaks bout with a 9-5 record. In their last bout, Alamosa was routed by Lamar (Lamar, CO), 4-2, in a league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 5-13 record. They play next when they host Pueblo East for a 4A South Central bout on Tuesday, September 26. Pueblo Central will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Dakota Ridge (Littleton, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 3-13.
