The South Laurel Cardinals volleyball team (London, KY), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY)

The Patriots (17-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY). The Comets enter the non-league challenge with a 8-13 record. In their last challenge, Carlisle County defeated Fulton County (Hickman, KY), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals meet the North Hardin Trojans (Radcliff, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 23. South Laurel will attempt to move on its 8-16 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 15-20 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Fern Creek (Louisville, KY).
