In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Belle Plaine Tigers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Pequot Lakes Patriots.
The Tigers (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Rush City (Rush City, MN). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 13-0 record. In their last battle, Rush City nudged Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Patriots clash with the Mora Mustangs (Mora, MN) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 26. Pequot Lakes will attempt to advance on its 9-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 2-11 record after their 2-1 league loss to Pierz (Pierz, MN).
