Kentucky High School Volleyball - Franklin County tips Bryan Station

September 23, 2023: Lexington, KY 40505

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Franklin County Flyers (Frankfort, KY) and the host Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY), saw Franklin County's volleyball squad nip Bryan Station by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Franklin County upgrades its record to 20-7 on the year. The Flyers travel to Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY) to play the in a District 41 bout on Tuesday, September 26. The go into the bout with a record of 19-0. Great Crossing won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Woodford County (Versailles, KY)

The Defenders now own a 17-13 record. They play next when they host Tates Creek for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 26. Bryan Station will play a Commodores squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over North Bullitt (Shepherdsville, KY). The Commodores record now stands at 13-12.
