The Calumet Copper Kings volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Duluth East Greyhounds to 0 in the Copper Kings non-league victory on Saturday.

The Copper Kings now have a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brainerd for a non-league game on Saturday, September 23. Calumet will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Willmar (Willmar, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 2-8.

The Greyhounds (5-6) will now prepare for their game against Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN). The Pioneers enter the non-league game with a 6-9 record. In their last game, Hill-Murray dropped by South St. Paul (South St. Paul, MN), 3-0, in a league game.
