The Central Plains Oilers volleyball team (Claflin, KS), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Hoisington Cardinals (Hoisington, KS)

The Cardinals (18-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Halstead (Halstead, KS). The Dragons enter the non-league challenge with a 19-2 record. In their last challenge, Halstead defeated Larned (Larned, KS), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Oilers encounter the Macksville Mustangs (Macksville, KS) in a Central Prairie challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Central Plains will attempt to move on its 7-12 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 14-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to South Gray (Montezuma, KS).
