The Trojans go into the contest with a 12-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Evangelical Christian (Cordova, TN).

With the loss, Lafayette moves to 14-11 on the year. The Commodores travel to Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Madison, MS) to battle the Patriots in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 23. The Patriots go into the contest with a record of 32-5. Madison-Ridgeland Academy won 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS)
